While the area includes a handful of more established communities such as Harvest Creek and Brentwood, much of Northwest Bozeman is made up of newer subdivisions. Here are a few of the top neighborhoods to consider in this area.
Harvest Creek is a well-established Bozeman neighborhood known for its tree-lined streets, walking trails, parks, and strong sense of community. The area features primarily single-family Craftsman-style homes, creating a cohesive and welcoming feel throughout the neighborhood.
Flanders Mill is a large, master-planned subdivision known for its newer homes, modern design, and extensive shared amenities. Located near Gallatin High School, the neighborhood offers roughly 36 acres of parkland and common space with trails, ponds, streams, playgrounds, and picnic areas. With a mix of over 270 single-family homes and approximately 195 multi-family residences, Flanders Mill provides a range of housing options.
Valley West is an established northwest Bozeman neighborhood located just north of Flanders Mill. Westfield Subdivision is a well-established south Bozeman neighborhood featuring single-family homes on larger lots and a quiet, residential atmosphere. Located near South 3rd Avenue, it offers convenient access to MSU, downtown Bozeman, the Museum of the Rockies, nearby schools, and South 19th Avenue for trips toward Hyalite Canyon.
Allison Subdivision is a newer residential community located on Bozeman’s south side. Positioned just south of Montana State University and west of Morning Star Elementary, the neighborhood offers convenient access to nearby schools, everyday amenities, and outdoor recreation. Its central location makes it easy to get around town, and to the mountains.
Gran Cielo is a 49-acre south Bozeman subdivision featuring a mix of modern, scandiavian style condos, townhomes, and single-family homes centered around a large community park. Built by CP Haus, the neighborhood reflects a cohesive design and quality construction. Its location just off South 19th Avenue offers easy access to Hyalite Canyon and downtown Bozeman.
Home 40 is a newer luxury subdivision on Bozeman’s south side. While it’s certainly not in everyone’s budget, if it is, you won’t be disappointed. It features large lot sizes, mountain views, and tons of amenities. There’s a clubhouse with a gym, outdoor pool, community space, a pond, and miles of walking trails. It’s close to Hyalite and a quick 10-minute drive to downtown.
North Bozeman sits near the Bridger Foothills and is known for its proximity to open space and views of the Bridger Mountains. This part of town is home to many established neighborhoods, with a quieter, more residential feel compared to areas that have seen heavier recent development.
Spirit Hills is a north Bozeman neighborhood located near Springhill Road at the base of the Bridger Mountains. The subdivision features homes on larger lots with wide-open mountain and valley views and a quieter, more established setting.
Springhill Reserve is a neighborhood defined by rolling hills, open views, and a spacious layout. The community features nearly three miles of walking trails, 49 acres of open space, a community pond, and homesites ranging from one to two acres.
Downtown Bozeman is made up of several distinct areas, each with its own character. From beautiful historic streets to rapidly changing neighborhoods, this part of town continues to evolve while remaining one of Bozeman’s most recognizable and busy areas.

South of Main Street is known for its established streets and larger historic homes, many of which date back decades. Tree-lined blocks and classic architecture define this area, giving it a more traditional residential feel within walking distance of downtown amenities. Streets like Willson Avenue are especially well known for their well-preserved homes and mature landscaping.
North of Main Street has undergone some of the most noticeable changes in recent years. Once dominated by smaller historic homes, this area has seen increased redevelopment, including new condos and larger modern residences. As a result, the character of this part of downtown is shifting, with higher-density housing becoming more common.
Four Corners has seen significant growth as Bozeman’s development continues west along Huffine Lane and Jackrabbit Lane. Falcon Hollow is a newer subdivision on the west side of Bozeman, located along the corridor toward Four Corners. Its location offers convenient access to local schools and an easy connection to surrounding areas.
Elk Grove was one of the earlier neighborhoods established in the Four Corners area and remains a well-known, established community. The subdivision includes approximately 300 single-family homes and features neighborhood trails, a park, and a pond. Located about a 15-minute drive from Bozeman, Elk Grove offers a more spacious setting while remaining within an easy commute to town.
Gallatin Heights is a large, master-planned community spanning approximately 319 acres near Four Corners. The neighborhood features modern home designs on spacious lots, along with roughly 41 acres of dedicated open space, miles of interconnected trails, and two community parks. Located just off Jackrabbit Lane, this neighborhood offers quick access to Bozeman, Big Sky and Belgrade.
