Valley West Subdivision

Valley West is a large, established neighborhood in Bozeman’s growing west side. It is located between Ferguson Avenue and Cottonwood. Nearby are the Ridge Athletic Club, The Market, and Northwest Crossing. Within walking distance, you’ll find Meadowlark and Hyalite Elementary School, Heritage Christian School, Petra Academy, and Gallatin High School. Valley West was one of the first master-planned communities in the area.

Valley West features an array of housing options and architectural styles. Capturing the feel of historic Bozeman neighborhoods with front porches, tree-lined streets, and alley entrances. There is a mix of single-family homes, condos, townhomes, and duplexes throughout the subdivision. Many of the homes have ADU’s. With over 1,600 residences, Valley West is one of Bozeman’s larger neighborhoods.

The subdivision incorporates a lake, streams, open space, and over four miles of walking and biking trails. There are beautiful covered bridges and a pavilion on the lake, perfect for group gatherings. A playground and sand volleyball court are also located in the Valley West Park, also referred to as Meyers Park.

Valley West has an active homeowner’s association with HOA dues and covenants. To create a neighborhood that reflects the character of the subdivision there are architectural regulations. They allow for a broad range of design while also ensuring that the homes in the Valley West have a comprehensive composition.
