Three Forks, Montana is a town in Gallatin County 30 miles west of Bozeman. Three Forks has a rich history, visited by Lewis and Clark in 1805. The Headwaters, where the Jefferson, Missouri and Madison Rivers flow together, is located in Three Forks. There is a small Main Street that starts with the beautiful and historic Sacajawea Hotel. Similar to other communities in the area, Three Forks has seen an increase in population and development over the past few years.
