Giving Back - Bozeman Real Estate Group

GIVING BACK

At Bozeman Real Estate Group, we believe that our community is at the core of what makes Bozeman such an amazing place to live. We contribute a portion of each sale to a local non-profit of our clients' choosing, we volunteer our time, donate our dollars, and do what we can to give back to Bozeman’s incredible community.

In 2022 we established the BREG Foundation. This foundation is a 501 (c)(3) used for supporting local Bozeman non-profits that focus on kids, pets, and vets! Bozeman Real Estate Group manages the foundation and assumes all administrative costs of the operation. The BREG Foundation is responsible for community fundraising events like the Bozeman Duckie Race that benefit a local non-profit each year.

Donate Our Dollars

We think it is important to always be giving back, so we’ve created a place on our website where anyone can go and direct our money to a charity of their choosing.

Miracle on 7th

Our office hosts an annual Thanksgiving dinner for the people in our community who need companionship or a place to eat on Thanksgiving Day. We host the meal along with local business, Midtown Tavern. This year, we were excited to welcome more than 250 people from our community to join us for Thanksgiving dinner.

Duckie Race 59

Bozeman Duckie Race

Bozeman Duckie Race is our latest community impact project. At this annual event, we race rubber duckies down a creek.  Winners receive gift packages put together with local businesses. Each year a different Bozeman-based non-profit will receive the money raised at the event. For the 2022 Bozeman Duckie Race, we donated $15,600 to Thrive, and in 2023 $15,100 was donated to Warriors & Quiet Waters. Click here to apply to be our 2024 non-profit.

Christmas for Families

For the past several years we’ve taken on the role of Santa for families who are unable to provide Christmas gifts for their children. We are given a Christmas wish list for each child and our team comes together to provide gifts and necessities for these families. Thanks to the generosity of our team members, we’ve been able to add several families each year and now are able to provide Christmas gifts to more than 25 children.

Can the Griz

As loyal Montana State Bobcat fans, we are always excited to take part in canning the University of Montana Grizzlies during this annual food drive for the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. This past year we organized a competition between many of the Bozeman real estate offices to see who could collect the most food. The Can the Griz real estate competition raised nearly 10,000 lbs of food for our local food bank in 2019!

Volunteering

We do our best to volunteer with as many different local non-profits throughout the year as we can. We helped the Gallatin Valley Food Bank build their gardens, worked on the final piece of the Main Street to the Mountains trail with the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, built an outdoor play area for the Bozeman Children’s Museum, participated in the SLAM festival set-up, and raised money for Big Brothers Big Sisters through Bowl for Kids Sake. We regularly help with Senior Grocery Packing at the Food Bank and helped get classrooms ready for Family Promise's new preschool.
