The Blackwood Groves neighborhood is a large, mixed-use subdivision located just South of Bozeman's Alder Creek Subdivision and West of Sacajawea Middle School. The 120+ acre development was designed with the vision for a walkable, mixed-use community with amenities for residents and its surrounding area.
It features restaurants, retail, and commercial services along with entertainment and recreational activities. Development focused on using parks, plazas, open green spaces, and trails to connect the neighborhood to reduce the need for cars and promote an active lifestyle.
The Blackwood Groves Subdivision includes 181 single-family lots, 14 multi-family lots, and five mixed-use parcels. The neighborhood serves a diverse set of residents with a variety of income levels and demographics.
