This new sports bar right on Main Street opened just in time for football season!sCousins Pub is located next door to the R Bar. They have a simple menu that has everything you need- wings, nachos, fries, and drinks! (And, a few things you wouldn't expect like yummy burrata) With plenty of seating and lots of TVs, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. There’s also a big patio, perfect for people-watching downtown. Check it out the next time you are trying to decide where to watch the Bobcats play! Cousins Underground is also open. Located in the basement of the building there are pool tables, darts, and more.
Located in the Market building, Merry Piglets is the newest addition to Ferguson Farms. The restaurant features Tex-Mex and is under the same restaurant group that owns Tanglewood, Hachi, and Liberty Burger. Their original restaurant has been open in Jackson Hole since 1969 and opened their Bozeman location this past spring. They have a variety of margaritas and a great happy hour!

Okay, we are the first to admit we were skeptical about a wine bar at the mall, but City Vineyard is great! The patio features a firepit, heat lamps so you can be outside even when it’s chilly, and lots of tables. Inside you’ll find a perfect wine bar vibe, plus a shop if you need to take some to go. The food menu offers plenty of options whether you are looking for just an app to go with your wine or a full meal. They also have a location in Billings.

We have always loved this space on S. Willson and were excited to see a new restaurant open last winter. Bitterroot Bistro prides itself on creating simple, hearty Montana food. You can find chicken, beef, bison, and trout on their menu so that feels pretty Montana to us! They are open for lunch, and dinner, and have two happy hours!
Located next to Bitterroot Bistro is Hugkan, a new family-owned sushi restaurant. They feature sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. They also have Thai specialty drinks on their menu. We like their simple, non-showy vibe and high-quality sushi!

We’ve mentioned this one before, but did you know Vienne has evening hours now!? It’s become a go-to spot for baked goods, but you really have to give their wine and cheese a try! It’s perfect for a girls night, date night, or just take a book and enjoy some food and wine by yourself in a peaceful environment. It’s a small menu with breads, olives, charcuterie, flatbreads, and more. You will not be disappointed.

We are patiently waiting for Splitz to open on East Main. The signage is up but we haven’t heard anything about an opening date yet. This is a Mediterranean food chain restaurant. And, while we are generally a fan of all things local Bozeman needs some good Mediterranean food so we are excited to try it. At least there’s the new Shawarma Bus to fill the need in the meantime! If you haven’t tried that one, do yourself a favor and go there asap!
