We all know there has been major development in Bozeman, Montana these past few years but have you noticed Belgrade lately? Recently they have experienced a surge in development. In the past year, there were over 150 residential and commercial building permits issued in Belgrade. As one of the fastest-growing cities in Montana, this comes as no surprise. Here are the big projects currently being developed in Belgrade, Montana
At over 250- acres this is the largest development in the area. It will be mixed-use and is located south of I-90 and the airport. It is a master-planned community that will be on the western edge of the Triangle Community plan between Belgrade and Bozeman. Plans for this development include retail, residential, commercial, light industrial, a hotel, and a restaurant. Phase I final plat has been approved and there is availability for commercial lots in both Phase I and II.
This mixed-use development that neighbors the airport began a few years ago. The 50-acre property will include hotels, restaurants, retail businesses, and residential units. Currently, a Holiday Gas Station is up and running in the plaza. Construction began last fall for a 15-acre workforce housing project (see below for more). EVEN Hotel is under construction in the plaza and will soon be completed. The airport is planning another expansion, making this an ideal location for commercial space. Yellowstone Landing is the corporate housing project in the Yellowstone Airport Plaza. Construction has begun on this 15-acre development. It will include 168 units in the first phase with a mix of 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom apartments across six buildings. With a dog park, fitness center, pool, and more they plan on this being a highly amenitized property. The goal of this development is to meet some of the housing needs for employees in the Gallatin Valley. Several of these units have already been leased out to Bozeman Health.

A five-building project has been approved off of Jackrabbit Lane just south of Silver Leaf Lane. They have proposed a 31-unit development that will be a mix of commercial and residential. The plan is for commercial on the first level of the two-story buildings with residential above. Five apartments will be in two of the buildings and seven apartments in the other three.
Not really a new development but it is exciting for Belgrade to have its own Murdoch's location. They feature an expanded clothing section in this store compared to Bozeman. The store is located just off Jackrabbit Lane, making it the perfect spot for tourists to get their cowboy gear when they get into town. Just kidding, please don't do that.
