There’s always something new going on downtown, and this summer is no exception! Here are 5 new businesses opening their doors downtown.
Shotgun Floral will be opening a boutique store inspired by nature in the Main Street Market building downtown. The store will offer fresh flowers, plants, and lifestyle goods. It sounds like a very cool concept, not only will you be able to shop for flowers, gifts, and houseplants and you will also be able to watch the florists at work in their studio, designing beautiful arrangements. They will be opening in June.
Finally, an answer to what is going into the old Heeb’s Grocery building! The Sidecar is a co-working space that offers office amenities to those who work independently. Sidecar was founded in Helena, has offices in Missoula, and is now expanding to Bozeman with its new location at 544 E. Main Street. They offer memberships that start at $249/month for shared workspaces and go up in price to include desks or private offices. We are excited to see this corner of Main Street come to life again with this very cool concept! Photo credit.
Benchmark is a bar and restaurant at the top of the new AC Hotel at the corner of Mendenhall and Tracy. According to their website, they serve Neapolitan-style pizza along with cocktails, wine, and craft beer. It appears that the best thing Benchmark has to offer is the 6th-floor views of downtown Bozeman. Photo credit: Instagram @spicy.ravioli.time.
There was a lot of buzz when the news first broke that Backcountry.com was coming to Bozeman. Now we know a little more about what they will be doing with their new space on South Bozeman Ave. Backcountry will be opening a storefront this summer to sell outdoor gear and apparel. Their storefront will be located in the old Gallatin Laundry building which has been completely renovated over the last few years. They will be opening this summer. We are excited to see what this historic space will look like.
