Located at 22 South Grand Avenue, Umvelt brings a new experience to downtown Bozeman: a modern urban bathhouse where relaxation and community meet.

Inspired by the traditional Russian banya, Umvelt features: 

• Saunas

• Cold plunge pools

• Steam rooms

• A small pool

• A café to unwind and connect

The space is open to adults 18 and over, creating a serene escape that’s different from the usual Bozeman hangouts. Think of it as your “third space”, not home, not work, not a bar, but a place to recharge.

Walk-ins are welcome, but you can book online as well. 

Where Does the Name Umvelt Come From?

The name Umvelt comes from the German word Umwelt, which means “sense world.” According to the founder, “the bathhouse experience is all about tapping into my senses, and I love this concept that every person has their own Umvelt. We’re creating a space for our community to feel what’s real to them and share that experience with others.”
