While there are plenty of breweries in Bozeman, once White Dog left there has not been one downtown. Union Hall Brewery is filling that void (in the same space!) The motto at Bozeman's newest old brewery is "in Beer we trust", meaning everyone is welcome there. While some of Bozeman breweries attract a certain crowd (skiers flock to Map after a day on the hill, Mountains Walking brings in a fancier crowd), at Union Hall they hope to create a vibe where everyone is welcome.

The Garden Barn recently opened a second location in The Market at Ferguson Farms. Their original location is in Four Corners and it is full of indoor and outdoor plants, flowers, pottery and unique gifts. We have always loved the Garden Barn and are so excited about the second location closer to Bozeman. The store has a great variety of plants and beautiful pottery.

Also new in downtown Bozeman is Room 1 located in the historic Bozeman Hotel. This intimate space is a cocktail club featuring a variety of both classic and modern drinks. It's a small, quiet space perfect for a before or after date drink.

This is for all the outdoor enthusiasts! Uphill Pursuits is a new specialty outdoor store in the Cannery District with all the things you need for backcountry skiing, climbing, ice climbing and trail running. The hope is to not only bring great outdoor brands but to connect with like-minded people in the Bozeman community. If there is one thing Bozeman has a lot of it's adventure seekers!
Love it or hate it, electric scooters have made their way to Bozeman! Blink Rides is a dockless system where you can just download the app, find an available scoot and start riding. When you're done, you just find the nearest parking zone to leave it. Blink Rides hopes to help alleviate some of Bozeman's parking challenges downtown and at MSU. You can just ride the scooter to where you're going and leave the car at home. Or, just get on one for a fun afternoon of exploring the city.

We have missed a whole summer of eating on the patio at the Garage so we cannot wait for SHINE to open! We're also missing LaParilla which will be a part of this. They are busy remodeling and getting ready to open soon. Along with LaPa Grill, the Soup Shack will also return with made from scratch soups. There will be 30 revolving beers on tap, plus wine. We are ready for this one to open its doors!!
There's a lot of moving going on around Bozeman. The Chocolate Moose recently moved from their Main Street location to S. Willson, just off of Main. They still have the same great candy selection and ice cream! Fiesta Mexicana also made a big move to the old Panda Buffet location. After some remodeling, they opened this summer. 406 Brewing is moving, but you'll have to go a little further away. Their new location is in Manhattan with a bigger tasting room, nice patio right on Main Street and more production space for making beer.
The Elm is coming right along next to the RSVP Motel and Farmer's Daughters Cafe. The Elm is a Logjam concert venue with plans to open in 2020. Logjam is a Montana based music promoter and we are so excited about new music coming to Bozeman. They expect to put on around 80 concerts per year. Voormi, an upscale outdoor apparel company based out of Colorado will soon be opening its doors in downtown Bozeman. At Aspen Crossing, a new development in Midtown, there are plans for an urban casual restaurant and a Spanish cuisine restaurant to open when construction is complete. The Midtown Brewery & Apartments is a new three-story building that has broken ground on the corner of Durston and North 7th, where a new brewery will find its home. Click here for more information on Bozeman's current development projects.
