What’s Happening? Bozeman Events for April

There's a lot happening this month, and with so many different places to look to see what's going on, it's easy to miss something. We've done the research for you and put together what we think is a comprehensive guide to Bozeman events for April 2018. Whether your jam is music, charity events, family activities or sports, we've got you covered.

APRIL 1ST-EASTER!

Easter Brunch at the Gallatin River Lodge. What a beautiful place to spend Easter. Their annual Easter Brunch will be from 10 am - 4 pm and there will be a variety of delicious food options. Tickets are $48/adult, $40/seniors and $30/Children. Call 388.0148 for reservations and click here for more menu information.

Easter Brunch at the Squire House. Enjoy a nice Easter brunch right in downtown Bozeman at the Squire House. There will be berries, granola and pastries for the table and a brunch menu that includes mimosas and Bloody Mary's! Click here for more information.

Easter Egg Hunts. These take place on Saturday, March 31st. Taylor Park in Manhattan at 11 am with a bouncy house, fire trucks, petting zoo, pony rides and separate egg hunts for different ages. Bobcat Stadium at 10:30 am for 13 years and younger with two hunts 0-4 and 5-13. There will be snack and prizes. The Belgrade Kiwanis are putting on a hunt at the Lewis and Clark park starting at 10 am and will have a bounce house, cotton candy, cookies and lots of eggs!

APRIL 4TH

California Guitar Trio at the Ellen. The show starts at 7:30 and the show will be a little bit of everything from The Beatles to Beethoven. Click here for tickets and more information.

APRIL 6TH

The Cat's Meow: A Night of Jazz at the Emerson. The MSU jazz band and jazz workshop ensemble will be putting on a night of music, drinks and dancing at the Emerson. There will be small bites from Sadie's Catering and a cash bar by the Emerson Grill. Doors open at 7 pm and the show begins at 7:30. Tickets are $25. Click here for more information.

APRIL 7TH

Bridal Walk in downtown Bozeman. It's that time of year again, wedding season is gearing up. The bridal walk downtown is a fun event for all the brides to be, starting at 11 am in downtown Bozeman. Nearly 50 businesses will be participating to help with dresses, rings, flowers, gifts and more. Many participating businesses will have wine, cake and hor s'oeuvres tastings throughout the day. Kidabaloo. This event has been gaining popularity each year. It is a fun day for the whole family at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. There will be games, tons of kids activities, local performers and more. Kids 5 and under are free and tickets are just $5.00. Click here for more details.

Tap into Montana Brew Fest. This will be the 4th Annual tap into Montana Brew Fest in Livingston along the Yellowstone River. It takes place at Miles Park starting at 2 pm and will be a celebration of Montana Craft Beer Week. There will be live music and the opportunity to sample beers from 26 Montana breweries. Tickets are $30 and with that you get entry as well as a sampler glass.

APRIL 10TH

Craft Beer Week Schedule Release Party. Bozemanites love their craft beer! This will be the official schedule release party for Bozeman Craft Beer Week and the party is 5-8 pm at Sidewinders American Grill. At this event, you can also purchase your 2018 Bozeman beer week passport. Keep an eye on their website for more information.

APRIL 12TH

Wylie and the Wild West at the Ellen. You'll want to bring your dance shoes for this one. Wylie is a native Montanan and when not touring can be found on his ranch near Conrad Montana. The show at the Ellen is at 7:30 pm and you can click here for tickets or more information.

APRIL 13TH

MSU Spring Rodeo. The rodeo actually kicks off on April 12th with a 7 pm performance and then continues through Sunday the 15th. Come cheer on the Cats when they compete with the best college rodeo athletes. Click here for ticket information.

Free Friday Night at the Children's Museum. Every 2nd Friday is free admission from 5-8pm at the Children's Museum, perfect time to check them out if you haven't already. They also have $1 pizza slices from Tarantino's!

Pinky and the Floyd at the Rialto. Don't worry Pinky and the Floyd fans there will be four opportunities to catch the show at the Rialto. Both Friday and Saturday there will be two shows, early at 6 pm and late at 10. If you haven't been to the Rialto, this will be the show to go check it out! Click for ticket information.

APRIL 14TH

The Prairie Sisters Vintage Market. The market is from 10 am to 4 pm at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. There will be furniture, food, espresso and all sorts of vintage farmhouse wares. The Prairie Sisters travel around Montana and host vintage markets. Entry is just $5.

Bozeman Winter Farmers' Market. There are only a few markets left! Head to the Emerson from 9 am to noon and check it out.

Funny Man Tom Papa at the Ellen. Get your laughs on with Tom Papa, a 20-year veteran stand up comedian who has made appearances on Conan and Stephen Colbert's show. The show will be at 8 pm. Click here for tickets.

APRIL 15TH

Free Family Movie at the Ellen. The show starts at 2 pm and the movie is Mulan. Grab the family and head downtown to the Ellen!

APRIL 17TH

Kirtan with Krishna Das Concert at the Ellen. This will be a beautiful evening with a blend of traditional kirtan of India with modern instrumentation. Krishna Das is a Grammy-nominated artist and the show is not to be missed. Click here for more information.

APRIL 18TH-19TH

Pecha Kucha 27. Have you had the chance to go to a Pecha Kucha? If not, this is the time. It is a fast-paced social gathering where anyone with a passion or vision presents an idea in 20 slides, 20 seconds each for a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds. From artists to entrepreneurs, Pecha Kucha is an event of inspiration. Click here for more details. The presentations begin at 6:40 pm.

APRIL 20TH

Bozeman without Borders 5K. This 5K run is put on by the MSU's chapter of Engineers without Borders with all money raised going towards projects being implemented in Kenya to provide clean water and sanitation to school children. It's a great course that follows Peets Hill and after the race, there will be awards, Montana beers and music. Entry cost is $20/adult and $15/student. Click here for more information.

APRIL 21ST

Bozeman Clean Up Day. Perfect timing with Earth Day being the 22nd. The Bozeman community is invited to help clean up our town! It begins at 8:30 am at the Bozeman Public Library. Start with the complimentary breakfast and then grab a clean-up kit and get to work!

APRIL 27TH

Bobcat Fest. This event is to thank MSU for being an essential part of the Bozeman community. It takes place downtown Bozeman from 5-7 pm and there will be live music, giveaways, raffles and complimentary food. This is a free event and family friendly.

APRIL 28TH

TedXBozeman. TedXBozeman has grown so much since the first one in 2012. There are some fantastic, inspiring speakers this year as well as dance and improv performances. It is at the Commons at 11 am and there are only general admission tickets left so don't wait too long or those will be gone also! Click here for more information.

No Man's Land Film Festival. Join REI Bozeman and Casting for Recovery at the Emerson for an evening of films that will benefit Casting for Recovery. Live music and raffles with films starting at 6 pm. Tickets are $20 and kids (12 and under) are free. This is an all-female adventure film festival and is a celebration of men and women who work to enhance the female presence in the adventure arena. Click here for more information.

Bozeman Winter Farmers' Market. There are only a few of these left! Head to the Emerson from 9 am to noon and check it out.

Beyond all of these events, there is always something going on, Bozeman is just awesome like that. For more live music check out the Rialto, Taproom, MAP Brewing, Wild Joe's, Red Tractor Pizza, Lockhorn Cider, The Attic in Livingston, Norris or Chico Hot Springs. They all bring in local musicians on a weekly basis. There's also the Museum of the Rockies, and of course the Verge for some theater.
