There has been a ton of new construction in Bozeman over the past several years. This means if you are looking for a brand new home you will have plenty to pick from in a variety of neighborhoods. The other side of this is finding a fixer-upper to buy. Older historic Bozeman homes that are in desperate need of a facelift or some that are more recent and just need a bit of updating. These types of homes are perfect for someone who is eager to jump into a home renovation project (hello HGTV!) or are looking for something more affordable that they can take their time updating and investing in. Here are some great fixer-uppers in the Bozeman area.
This location is the best...right across from Bogert Park! The cottage-like home has so much potential. Built-in 1904 and sitting on a large lot, this is very much a home of Bozeman's history. With a solid remodel it could easily be worth twice as much. You get all the benefits of a downtown lot complete with huge, mature trees.
Another downtown gem. This turn-of-the-century home sits on two city lots and has a huge yard. There is so much character just waiting for someone to come give it some love. There is a newer roof and forced air heater which helps alleviate some of the bigger expenses in a remodel project
This one has already been started for you! There is fresh interior paint, new flooring in the kitchen and beautifully refinished hardwood floors. With some updating in the kitchen and bathrooms and some remodeling on the lower level, this historic home has tons of potential. The location is a bonus close to MSU and downtown.
The lot this home sits on is fantastic. Tons of mature landscaping and so much space. Built in the late 1950's this home has good bones and just needs some updating. There are some things that must stay like the brick fireplace and maybe even the kitchen cabinets for a retro feel. If those are mixed with some modern touches you could really have some fun. The location is great, near MSU and it's worth saying again...the yard is beautiful
