An application has been submitted to the city for a 5-story building to be built at 1825 W. Kagy, the old home of the Bozeman Church of Christ.
According to documents submitted to the city, the proposed building would be 450,000 sq. ft with 167 dwelling units which would be focused on student housing. The apartments would range in size from 500-1,400 sq.ft The building would also include a parking garage with 324 parking spaces along with a study lounge, bike storage room, fitness center, and courtyard.
The property at 1825 W. Kagy sits on the northeast corner of 19th and Main. The property is 3.349 acres and was listed for sale in January 2022 for nearly $6.5 million and sold a year later. According to the project application, the new owner of the property is Reuter Walton Development out of Minnesota.
