18 Wapiti Drive 18 | Bozeman, MT

You have been waiting for this one Bigfoot Mountain Ranch- 360 mountain views of two mountain ranges: Bridger mountains on one side & Absoroka mountains on the other side. Enter through the iconic western ranch timber arch to your Montana escape! Almost brand new roof with high end shingles. Wake up to the sun rising over the Absoroka’s then in the evening watch the sun drop over the Bridger Range. This exquisitely and carefully crafted custom home has wood features that you have never seen before. Railings and bannisters inside the home are custom craftsman carved cedar and create a true Montana mountain home feel. This property is very rare as it sits outside of zoning in PARK county but has a Bozeman address which is great for many things including property taxes! This makes short term rental legal as most mountain properties in Bozeman now do not allow STR rental. The covenants do not restrict splitting the parcel and it is in Park county where this is easier than Gallatin county. There is a 24x32 detached shop w/heat and power for all your toys. Brand new 50 year roof, new wood burning fireplace, new wood flooring. This is NOT a log home but a traditional home with log siding which could easily be removed and replaced with siding of your choice. Inside there are some log accents which could be removed if a new owner desired a more modern look. New concrete formed faux rock outdoor area with included swimming spa and hot tub combo with mechanical cover along with a cedar barrel sauna! You can sit in your swimming pool or hot tub and view two mountain ranges! There is also a built in firepit that gives spectacular views of the mountains with built in passageway lighting for evenings by the fire. Downstairs features a large living room, game room that could be converted to another bedroom, full bedroom, laundry room and full bathroom with access to swimming pool and outdoor area. Upstairs there is a loft sleeping area and there is also a cave crash room for an extra non-conforming space for guests. New master bathroom, new downstairs bath. The master bathroom has it’s own washer and dryer! This is the Montana dream made real: wide-open skies, unforgettable mountain sunsets, room to breathe, character, luxury and a place family and friends will never want to leave. Whether forever or for a season, this is where your Montana story begins.
