Belgrade, Manhattan, and Three Forks are the surrounding towns west of Bozeman. Livingston is east of Bozeman, and Big Sky is south.

Home prices are lower and there is tons of new construction just outside of town where you can get more space. Three Forks has a vibrant downtown with cafes, shops, a brewery, and of course the beautiful Sacjawea Hotel. Just outside of town is the Headwaters State Park offering outdoor recreation and the golf course right in town is the only one in Montana that is open year-round.
