Bridger Brewskis & Spurs: New Skijoring Event Coming to the Gallatin Valley in 2026

Who doesn’t love a good weekend of skijoring? A new skijoring event, Bridger Brewskis & Spurs, is coming to the Bozeman area in 2026, and we’re here for it.

What Is Bridger Brewskis & Spurs?

Bridger Brewskis & Spurs is a two-day skijoring competition happening February 28 – March 1, 2026, hosted by Bridger Brewing and KH Horse Consulting at Bridger Brewing in Three Forks.

If you’re new to skijoring, here’s the short version:

A horse pulls a skier through a snow-packed course at full speed while the skier hits jumps, grabs rings, and tries to stay upright. It’s controlled chaos. It’s a perfect winter activity. And it’s very Montana.

This event brings together:

• High-energy skijoring races

• Family-friendly activities

• Local food, beer, and vendors

Whether you’re racing, watching, or just there for the beer and people-watching, it’s shaping up to be a great weekend.

Competing at Bridger Brewskis & Spurs

This event is open to everyone, from seasoned skijoring teams to first-timers who are feeling bold.

Divisions include:

• Open 4D

• Youth

• Snowboard

• Switcharoo

Registration opens in January 2026, with in-person pre-registration parties at Bridger Brewing locations in Bozeman and Three Forks.
