The sun has been shining and Bozeman can FEEL the energy begin to shift to spring and summer! This means one thing around here, patios are beginning to fill up with people soaking up the sunshine. In the past few years, we've seen a surge in outdoor seating options and it's not just limited to downtown. In fact, when we started this list we were going to make it just the top ten, turns out there are waaaaay more fantastic places with patios so we had to keep going!
Bridger views? Check. Huge beer selection? Check. Wine on tap? Check. The Bozeman Taproom pretty much covers all the bases for happy hour after work or for dinner out. The rooftop patio is always the coveted spot, but if it's too crowded there are also tables outside on the street level and if the big doors are open you can feel the outdoors throughout.
A Bozeman favorite!! The patio overlooks the pond with big Bridger views behind, making it tough to find a patio with a better view in town. MAP has great beer, great food and is one of our favorite breweries...the only problem is it's tough to find a seat on a sunny day!
Before all the new places began popping up with outdoor seating, The Garage was the go-to place for summer eats. It still is and on any given sunny day you will see it full of happy people enjoying a burger on the patio. Plus, it's dog-friendly and if you have to wait for a table there's plenty of room for the kids to chalk on the sidewalk and parents to have a beer.

We love Sola, not just for their yummy coffee and baked goods but because of their dog-friendly patio!! There's also plenty of space so it's a great choice for coffee with friends, breakfast, lunch OR dinner. They make everything from scratch and serve locally-sourced deliciousness to enjoy.
We'll head over to the other end of town for a couple now. Sidewinders has a fantastic rooftop patio to take in the mountain views that surround us. They have a wide variety of beers on tap and a nice menu, making this a good choice for dining al fresco!
Whether you are here for breakfast, happy hour or dinner, the patio at Red Chair has some of the best Bridger views in Bozeman. We might be biased as our new office will be right next door, but we love Red Chair's patio and can't wait for summer evenings here!

Just off of Main Street is Cafe Fresco, some of the best Italian in Bozeman. Their patio is fantastic with Bozeman Creek flowing beside it and mature trees for shade on hot days. With a glass of wine and some delicious pasta you could almost trick yourself into thinking you're in Italy (almost!)

On any given sunny day in Bozeman, you will see many happy people sitting at the R Bar's patio. They open up the doors, making all the front tables feel like you are right outside, people watching and enjoying a bucket of beer. If there's no room here, try Toro next door for some tacos and margaritas on their patio!
If it's a little chilly, but you still want to be outside Starky's is the best choice! It's a covered patio with heat lamps to keep it warm. There's also part of it that is not covered for the sun lovers! They are open every day for lunch or an afternoon happy hour and have a great menu and nice vibe.

The Cannery District
There are several options for patio dining in the Cannery District. Pizza Campania (pictured above) has a great little patio with a firepit and if you haven't had their pizza yet, do yourself a favor and go there! Seven has a lot of outdoor seating complete with twinkle lights and a couple of couches. Nice spot for your next sushi date! Behind 406 Brewing is a large patio area that is relatively unknown. Whether you are having beer, a drink from Wildrye Distilling or a kombucha from Dean's Zesty Booch you can enjoy it on the patio. This summer make sure to check out their patio concert series, they have a great line up!
