Bozeman’s Best Places with Patios

Bozeman’s Best Places with Patios

On November 01st, 2020

In the past few years, we've seen a surge in outdoor seating options in Bozeman, and it's not just limited to downtown. There are restaurants, cafe's, breweries and bars all over Bozeman with outdoor patios for us to enjoy. Here's a list of our best places with patios in Bozeman.

Bozeman Taproom

Bridger views?  Check.  Huge beer selection?  Check.  Wine on tap?  Check.  The Bozeman Taproom pretty much covers all the bases for happy hour after work or for dinner out.  The rooftop patio is always the coveted spot, but if it's too crowded there are also tables outside on the street level. If the big doors are open, it does not matter if you are inside or out!

MAP Brewing

MAP Brewing is no doubt a Bozeman favorite! The patio overlooks the Glen Lake Rotary Park pond with some of the best Bridger views in town. Seriously, it's tough to find a patio with a better view in Bozeman.  MAP has great beer, great food, and is one of our favorite breweries in Bozeman. The only problem is it's tough to find a seat!

Bridger Brewing

Pizza, beer, and views are what you'll get from Bridger Brewing's fantastic second story patio! This is the perfect place to soak up the sun and the south side views for happy hour drinks or dinner. In the summer they have quite a few outdoor concerts so if you're lucky enough to get tickets and are there early enough, it's a great spot to catch a show.

Foxtrot Bozeman Patio

Foxtrot

One of Bozeman's newest restaurants, Foxtrot, is located in The Market building in Ferguson Farm. They have a big, spacious patio and will be filling it up this summer with live music every Saturday night as part of their Summer Concert Series. With a west facing patio, this is a great place to catch those awesome summer sunsets we have here in Bozeman.

The Crystal Rooftop

An oldie but goodie, the Crystal Rooftop is a Bozeman classic. With buckets of corona, a jukebox, and tables to gather around with your friends, what else could you need? There’s not a ton of room up here, but if you get a spot, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a drink, or three!

Plonk

Plonk is the best place to enjoy a cocktail outside. The front patio is perfect for people watching on Main Street, but the back patio is our favorite, with beautiful green foliage and a private, tucked away feeling. This is our top pick for a girls night, date night, or happy hour!

Cafe Fresco

Just off of Main Street is Cafe Fresco, some of the best Italian food you can find in Bozeman. With Bozeman Creek flowing beside and mature trees for shade, on the Cafe Fresco patio, you hardly notice that you are downtown! With a glass of wine in hand and some delicious pasta, you could almost trick yourself into thinking you're in Italy (almost!)

SHINE Beer Sanctuary

If you miss The Garage, we’ve got good news for you. The old patio that we all loved is still open under the new name Shine Beer Sanctuary. Not only is the old street level patio open, but they have a new, second-floor patio overlooking downtown. While you are soaking up the sun on the Shine patio, you can enjoy the extensive beer selection, Soup Shack snacks, and La Parilla burritos! The Cannery District

There are several options for patio dining in the Cannery District.  Pizza Campania (pictured above) has a great little patio with a firepit and if you haven't had their pizza yet, do yourself a favor and go there!  Seven has a lot of outdoor seating complete with twinkle lights and a couple of couches.  There is a large patio area near behind Wildrye Distilling and Dean's Zesty Booch to enjoy a drink and some sunshine.

Outlaw Brewing

One of Bozeman's best breweries also has a great patio!  There's green space right next to it for the kids and dogs to run around and almost always a food truck in the parking lot to get some food to go with your beer.
