Lululemon and Athletia are now prominent stores in downtown Bozeman. Along with a slew of new trendy stores opening soon. This is a big change for the downtown community, which used to be made up of many locally-owned retailers and businesses. And while Bozeman adjusts to these shifts that come as a response to our growth, it is important for us to support the local businesses all throughout our community who put their heart and soul into their work, and our community every day.

1. Jonah & Sage

Did you know this clothing store began with the purchase of a small, local clothing store in Ennis, Montana? After 11 years there the owners opened the store, Damselfy, in Bozeman. They sold that store and later found a vacant storefront nearby and opened Jonah & Sage! The store features stylish women's clothing and a small section of men's clothing. We love this family-owned store!

2. Bozeman Running Company

For everything athletic, head to Bozeman Running Company, a locally owned athletic store that caters to runners, walkers, hikers and everyone in between. They carry athletic apparel, headwear, accessories, socks & shoes. Bozeman Running Company is a fantastic presence in our community, hosting runs, group meetups and other charitable events. 3. Chalet Sports

Another great stop for athletic apparel downtown is Chalet Sports. They carry brands like North Face, Prana and Smartwool, apparel for biking & hiking, along with rain gear and swimwear, Chalet Sports is also the longest-standing locally owned business on this list, in businesses since 1953! With so many new outdoor stores opening in downtown Bozeman, make sure to keep supporting Chalet!

4. MōKA Montana

MōKA Montana has taken place of Bozeman’s long-standing clothing boutique The Root. This much-loved clothing store on Main Street in downtown Bozeman is still selling the funky fashion that The Root was known for, just under a different name!

5. HeyDay

No boutique list for downtown Bozeman would be complete without HeyDay! This store has always been the go-to for gifts and home goods but they also have a solid clothing selection and they have the most beautiful jewelry! You just can't walk into this store and not feel happy. Bonus? They gift wrap!

6. Intrigue Ink

The Meridian Boutique is a Bozeman staple, having had a downtown storefront for the last 23 years. They offer beautiful, high-quality clothing that leans towards a contemporary style.
